Premise:

Secret Service agents Myka Bering (Kelly) and Pete Lattimer foil an attempt on the President’s life, only to be transferred to the middle-of-nowhere South Dakota, where they are assigned to Warehouse 13.

The agent in charge is Artie Nielsen (Rubinek), who’s been on the job for quite some time and has seen just about everything. Bering and Lattimer are tasked at finding artifacts that could effectively cause chaos around the globe.

They’re soon joined by Claudia (Scagliotti), a brilliant young hacker who finds her way into the Warehouse, much to Artie’s chagrin.

Why It Was So Good:

Do you remember that scene at the end of Raiders of the Lost Ark? Well, this whole show is pretty much the expanded version of that scene, mixed with a little X-Files and a lot of fun.

The actors all play well off each other and, for a show that lasted five seasons (64 episodes), there are very little cast changes. The ones that do occur are brilliant additions instead of subtractions. The baddies are usually over-the-top, but also end up being grounded in real-life reasons for their villainy.
